MEET THE CREATOR
First, I would like to say welcome! Welcome! Welcome! My name is Rakeem Morris, but most call me Rocky! I want to give you a little background about myself. First, I'm from Richmond, Virginia. The passion of me becoming a storyteller began my sophomore year of high school. This was when I first laid my hands on a camera, learning how to edit, and do interviews. I carried that passion all the way through college, filming sports like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, field hockey, etc.

After College, I decided to elevate my skillset as being a cinematographer and storyteller. Therefore, while being blessed to retain a job as a news photojournalist, I had the opportunity expand my knowledge on how to film, listen, and tell unbelievable stories. Recently in 2023, I decided to leave the world of news, due to the lifestyle of continuously filming crime scenes and talking to numerous of grieving families. While there were many awesome positive stories I had the chance to film, it seems the negative stories took more of a tole. I was fortunate to work in news for 5 years.
May of 2023, I became a licensed Drone Pilot and now, I currently work for State of Maryland being a videographer.

I still have the passion to film whats out there during my free time; whether its filming music videos (Drag Da Mic), promoting businesses, filming events, or just throwing up the drone for aerial shots. So there you have it! That is me in a nutshell. LETS WORK!
